Here you go, thanks Ebbo never thought of that!

Brilliant Smudge' - I really enjoyed that.....:thumb2

I seem to remember that they were always cold arsed (needed plenty of choke until they were good and warm) and I distinctly remember that deep induction/sucking 'mwwwwaaaaaaaaaw' sound as you opened the throttle and the revs started to rise.

Memories...Great job....Thank you.....:)

Well done Steve! first try and away she goes. Thanks for putting that up :thumb2

Garelli Tiger Cross Moped / Restoration.

FYI: Video part 1 of two pertains to the Honda SS50.

Here's a link to another video called "Fizzy Days". It's a tongue firmly in cheek comedy homage to those fondly remembered halcyon "sixteener-special" days in the mid-seventies.

In 1977 our group had sports mopeds of absolutely all the makes and models which were available at the time, however my own was firstly a Casal SS4. It's amazing that I still often see Casal's being ridden when I visit Portugal, especially in rural areas it's their only available mode of transport.

Whilst I had the Casal, I also bought a Honda SS50 five speed (it was Orange in colour and the rare early front drum brake variant).
