Frames been blasted,just need to collect it this week
I’m not going to mess with the original welding ,
It is what makes the bike.
But we will sort 40 plus years of bodges.
Why not just " tig-wash" the welds to blend it all in?
to raise the rear end and increase ground clearance for big impacts...........
It won't increase the ground clearance at all......though it would allow greater wheel travel on compression if the shock absorbers had sufficient travel.
Talking of ground clearance, that side stand and bracket eat up a good few inches of it.
