Now the mudguard can be mounted,
Can’t say I’m 100% happy with the shape of it,seems like it was made for the bultaco that had a 28” front wheel
Bike looks ok, but please please take the fucking chuck key out of the lathe chuck ferfucksake dopy bollocks, actually leave it in , it might knock some sense into you.
That’s where it lives knob chops, the lathe has child proof locks fitted so even a rude tosser like you wouldn’t kill himself with it.
We leave it in the chuck to wind folk up.
If you paid attention you’d see it’s been in pics for years
It’s isolated at the wall, read prev postMark my words son, one day that will have you . . .
child locks or not, the switches on those old machines didn't fail safe !

Does seem a bit odd,not to recess them,The project's looking ace Mikeyboy, with top notch work, but those two Allen cap heads sitting proud on the handlebar clamps are screaming out to be recessed to match the others.
Does seem a bit odd,not to recess them,
Buts that’s how they are.
Over to Andres,

Over to Andres,
So with the Overlander heading overseas , the ST done and this Spanish lashup nearly finished , Mikey Towers must be nearly empty .
What’s the next project ?
How about ....
I wish the place was emptying out a bit Martin,
The winter projects have overrun, now the summer bikes have woken up.
We have 5 engines to build
4 gearboxes
2 bikes with engines out
A very sad hp2 to rebuild
Plus the stuff rolling up daily.
That aside,I’ve never really been too tempted to build a hpn replica.
(I’ve been asked a few times)
For a start it would be REALLY expensive.
I recon getting some of the bits would be a nightmare.
I’d rather build my own bikes, however if you want a hpn rep, I’d be happy to oblige.
But ,if you were hankering after something with a bit of useful off road prowess,I wouldn’t recommend a hpn bike,,
The st would be a lot more useful.
(And cheaper)
£11.5 k and ready in @3weeks
Can I take delivery of the other one first
