So fucking jealous, had 3 of them back in the day and a ypvs , addictive as coke , happy trails

I had 3 a Terry Beckett tuned a Stan Stephens tuned and a std YPVS, I proddy raced the first two didnt like the YPVS, the Stephens was the smoothest and most civilised but the Beckett was a complete madman went like a 125 single to 7k fourstroked like a twat between 7 and 7.5k then it cleared its throat and the clocks hit you in the face and went like a scalded cat ... great bike

Beautiful, especially given the horrible condition it was in when you first got it. Just shows what can be done.

Should be about 6K for the booooom with allspeed pipes , lovely bike.
Standard pipes were also lovely

Wow, what a transformation.
I was looking at the first pics, wondering at how true to the original Yamaha's reproduction is.
Who's the Irish magician?

Who did it? My friend has been restoring them for years now in Belfast.I think he sells them for £7k-£8k. He's called JS Restorations. The Bike Specialist bought some of his latest ones.

His name is Simon Preston and he is based in Limerick he tends to do 1 resto a year not always an LC, feeling pretty chuffed plus it has all matching numbers which is rare these days
