Touratech offset risers ...... part 610-5257

Cannot get the above risers in the UK or Europe ........ apparently they are obsolete.

Still available in the US for $99 ..... but postage is ridiculous. Anyone got some they would consider selling .... ?

Thanks Martyn, they do look good ..... they push a fair way back, they must make a major difference ? Di you have to change both brake & clutch lines ?

On the 1150, neither. On my 1200R, which was Hornig (yet another option! ) I bought their longer brake line. https://www.motorcycleparts-hornig.com/BMW-R-1200-R/Alu-High-grade-Steel/
They do a nice catalogue, which arrives in about 3 or 4 days. I actually bought my bits from Mike at Sporttouring, in south Wales. https://www.sportouring.co.uk/product-category/accessories/hornigbmw/

thanks again Martyn, what year is your R1200R ..... ?
Yep, I think i'll have to settle for the Hornigs; they give a 20mm rise, but no push back. I did a similar mod to my 650 Sertao and it was a good improvement.
However .... Changing the brake line, means re-bleeding the front brake system. Did that go OK as there's the ABS pump in circuit to consider & I thought it was a specialist job to do ?

It's a 2014 "Dark White", so last of the line before the LC model. I had the risers fitted, & the brake line installed, at service time, so not a problem.
