Has anyone fitted a BMW Nav V SatNav on a non-BMW Motorcycle ?

If so, can I ask where you sourced the cradle etc from ?

Many thanks/

Yes - I fitted a nav 6 to my FJR 1300.

Iirc the cradle came from Cotswold BMW and was about £60.

A Nav V will go into the equivalent Garmin mount (see other threads) but without the buttons. Pick them up on eBay or for sale here.

got a lockable bmw mount on my AT 30 sovs from dealer, came off a damaged bike, easy fit

The BMW cradle should come with four machine screws, washers, nuts and spacers. Use these to attach cradle to a RAM plate with 1" ball on back. With another RAM ball on the bars the two can be connected with a RAM arm, which come in three sizes so that you can position it in the best place above/at side of instruments. Look at RAM's multitude of possibilities.

Thanks all... some great advice there. Many thanks ! :)
