Popped into my mates workshop.
He has suckled out the rear brake fluid.
And found ' chutney with added grit ' at the bottom of the reservoir.
So once I get it home onto my bike lift I will overhaul / replace as needed..
Now THAT I'd love to see

Can you get those hoses made up rather than buying new parts?
Well done Ash looks great.......have to say, I’m amazed it had points in 1994 my 79 triumph came out of the factory with leccy ignition...... The Guzzi factory must have found some lying around so thought they’d use them up
Looking forward to seeing this come together
Hey Ash are you going to put braided hoses on the front too?
Hey Ash are you going to put braided hoses on the front too?
Not unless theym be knackered, maybe later.
Trying to keep costs down, without skimping, see how I get on with it first & upgrade at a later date.
Guzzi's have linked brakes which are great from standard..
Wheels need a refurb.
Frame touch up.
Engine paint.
Diff case paint.
Exhaust re chrome or replace with Stainless, no point spending a few hundred quid on chrome when stainless replacements are £300.
Full fluid change.
Replace filters.
Brake disc re paint.
Recover seat..
Sell bike and pine for another ...
... And Mrs Og has first dibs on it anyhow.Feck orrfffff.
It's a keeper...
