Air scoop, filter, housing all back in frame & breather pipes, starter motor, left carb rubber all fitted back in.
Who ever designed the air scoop & filter housing wants shagging with a pineapple.
( Probably long dead now though )
No wonder folk don't fit them back in & fit alloy trumpets.
Certainly not helped by having no wrists :tears

And one breather pipe is longer than tother, fecked if I could work out why it was so tight on the near side :blast

At least it's done now ;)

Anybody who has done this job will know what a mare it is, doing the air filter is bad enough .
But the air scoop & breather pies that run along side it are utter barstewards...

In some ways yes Simon...
But that brings the next delema - keep it or sell it & see what I can find next..

;)

I haven't been here in a very looooong time ...and you're STILL doing up old guzzi's....??

Yup...
I know them back to front, nothing hi-tech, well built, parts readily available & I love the character of Guzzies...

And they don't cost a fortune, but the downside is they don't sell for inflated prices.
Likd lots of other older bikes.

And more importantly with my disabilities, even j can do most things on Guzzies ....

Ohh yes. I cant manage without Mrs Ogs helpful little hands / dunno how the hell you do it! :bow

.......and keeping us thoroughly entertained :)

And more importantly mesen. ;)
I think i would go nuts without my time spent in the garage.. :loopy
It also dose my limbs no end of good.

I'm convinced my functions would be far les than i have without doing what I do in the garage...
Not forgetting the mental good it does me..

It's from easy mind & I couldn't do it without the bike lift..

Yesterday tested me Og :(

Fecking ball ache, it was a fecker to get all the air intake / filter parts out of the frame.
So i knew it would be a bugger & it certainly was :blast

Not helped by me not taking a photo if the cylinder top breathers whilst in situ, b4 I took the off & not noting one was longer :tears

Sad to announce the untimely end of my Fiat silicone sealer. :tears
Expiry date 03/2000

So nearly made 20 years out of date.

Used the last bit on the Guzzi today.

I'm gutted. :D
