Hi all,
I have been happily using risers on my handlebars for about a year now. Recently I managed to hit a fairly deep pot hole in the road which managed to move the bars away from me by an inch. When I set it up, I made sure all the bolts on the clamp were torqued correctly, and the clamp having an equal gap fore and aft.
I seem to recall seeing a pic with the clamp hard down on one side. Is this the correct way to fit them, leaving a bigger gap on the other? Does that in fact grip the bar better, even though the torque on the bolts is the same?
Cheers
Dave
