After five years on my GS LC, I decided it was time to change for something a little smaller and lighter

You will really enjoy riding it.

Just try not to look in shop windows as you ride past.

I'm still dreaming about an R1250RS, when the mothership gets around to it; maybe exchange my FJR, if the new RS is good enough & passes muster with SWMBO.

Anyway, enjoy the new ride.

I too joined the club, picked mine up on Saturday, must post a picture.

Someone had “cleaned” the engine with a corrosive cleaner which left it covered with white etch marks and had then tried to remove the marks with what seems to have been a scouring pad

I got a full refund and bought an R1250GS instead as there were no new R1200RS’s available and the 1250 doesn’t arrive until September

Not good, only problem I've seen with mine is screen seems to scratch easily. It goes in for 600 mile service on Tuesday so will ask about replacement, but knowing Inverness Harry Fairbairn I won't be holding my breath.

I know someone with a virtually new MRA Varioscreen which is surplus to requirements :thumb
