In an attempt to improve the lighting on my 2003 1150gs I recently sourced a pair of BMW LED driving lamps ( i read all the horror stories about them afterwards!)
I'm now left with two issues, how to source the correct multi connector that fits the wiring sockets on the lamps and how to identify the positive and negative terminals?
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks in advance

I have managed to source the multi pin connector plugs from Motorworks, if someone can advise on the polarity (I'm assuming it matters for LED lights?) I should be able to get these fitted,
Thanks in advance

Easiest way is to apply 12v to the leads and mark the positive, if you dont have another battery to do this a charger will probably do..

Is there a risk of damaging the unit if I get the polarity wrong though?

Unlikely to cause damage as LED's in general will only work one way; for example if replacing filament bulbs with LED then the blurb will say some thing to the effect of "if it doesn't work, take it out and turn it around".
