Luggage rack question

Hello Everybody,
Trying to put a Zega Pro topbox on my 1090R. I got the KTM mount but then realized that on 1090 I need to get additional rack that it standard with 1290.
KTM says that the part I need is 60612910044. I was just about to order this part when I came across a second hand rack from 1290. This however has part number 60312010000.

I have been comparing the photos and both parts look identical. It just triggered my curiosity whether KTM just marks the parts differently or they are really different. Is there anyone who could comment about the compatibility of these.

According to the Fowlers website 60312010000 fits 1090, 1190 & 1290

I know I have at least two of these base plates sat in a box in my garage. I will dig them out later this afternoon and check the numbers for you

I've checked and what I have is a 60312010000

and a 60312011000

Racks seem the same

The site with spare parts you have recommended Paul works a treat.

It all seem to make sense now. As the rack is fixed to the handles and the handles have exactly the same product number as those on my bike, I have every reason to believe that the racks are identical and the holes on the rack would fit. Furthermore also the Touratech holder for the Zaga topbox is the same for 1090, 1190 and 1290.
This is the picture of the small rack I have on the bike currently and the distance between the mounting points (actually edges of the holes rather than centres). I tried to use Photoshop to measure the distances on the picture you sent, but it was inconclusive. Would you mind to confirm the distances on the 60312010000 rack? This would confirm compatibility of the racks beyond any doubt.

The OE plastic rack in your photo above is 60612010000 and the holes line up perfectly with the metal carrier plate 60312010000 :thumb2

If you haven't already sourced the carrier plate 60312010000 let me know and I will look into the cost of shipping mine to Germany for you :thumby:
