It means you’ve dropped your bike and you need to switch the engine off

Turn engine and ignition off, leave for a min, turn back on ....has it disappeared? If not best give Bmw dealer a call .

Is it an R1200 or R1250

What was the outcome ?

I had a few episodes of oil level coming up on the screen in the first 500 miles , it was a system glitch as no issues with the oil system , pump etc as it was checked.
The dealer reset and updated the system and 2000 + miles later no other issues (apart from too much fun …) , get to you dealer and im sure its a software issue not a mechanical / engine problem

What was the outcome ?

Fault in the Engine Control.... turned out to be the rider. He was dragged off the bike for being crap.

Warning light went away.

It's how modern AI Level bikes work now.

Possibly exhaust valve flap thingy. Can't remember exactly what the dealer said it was, but definitely take to your dealer who should be able to sort under warranty.

I got this message twice before I left the dealer.

Problem reported to be low battery voltage.

After leaving the bike overnight to get charged up, returned to the dealers.

52 miles later, stopped, put down the side stand and same message came up.

Back to dealers.

This time fault diagnosed as faulty side stand switch. Switch changed. Then advised that oftware update was needed. "Possibly 4 hour job".

So bike left at dealers over the weekend.

Bike owned for 4 days, 52 miles (200+ on dealers demo bike), and still not been able to park it in my garage.

4 Hours for a software update.

What they using ZX-81 and cassette uploads

Fly to Tenerife in 4 hours....

Bike returned from dealers at 6.00 pm last night after getting software update.

Bike sat for 2 hours in my garage. Went out to start it......FFS:mad::mad::mad: 4 times now - 72 miles (less than 50 ridden by myself)
