Hi, I'm after a bit of advice / knowledge please:

Do BMW do a smaller topbox for the RT LC (K52) than the 49L, that attaches to the same securing points?
I'm not bothered if its a hard or soft case.

If they don't, does any other manufacturer make one?

What do other people use, for a smaller topcase, than the 49L?

The smaller BMW top-case - 28L I think it is.

Yep, the 28L is a nice case and I use it on mine.

Peli case every time ... easy to make your own mounting, to any 'bike. The MacBook will live in there when travelling, 12v socket inside for charging anything

Even adapted an old BMW pannier lock, key coded to the 'bike key

It's nut and bolted on to the BMW (F800GS) rack, most easily done to any BMW rack for sure.

The home made lid locking utilises a BMW lock system from an old damaged pannier, key coded to my 'bike

Hope this helps ...



Laptop sits snugly in the lid ... 12v supply for charging
