Thanks mate.

As I look out of the window prior to sleep its snowing again, v pretty but I dont want to get stuck here, as nice as it is.......

Day 3

Wake to blue skies and no real settled snow so should be ok.

Due to defrost time yesterday I have a walk round village which is v beautiful indeed.....

On high street came across these two.

Strangely he does not fix her fridge then bone her large style.

I think I may need to watch some different movies......

End up at Chur via A roads and through the city of Zurich. I went through there a few years ago and it was a total pain in ass. Memories fade so I stupidly do same again, its still a pain in the ass of immense proportions....avoid.

I think it was Einstein who said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and expecting different results, or something like that.

Anyway I press on to Chur.

Pitstop at Mc Shits and lunch courtesy of hotel breakfast.

Onto the pass to St Moritz. This is fabulous and the views staggering. One of my favourite roads....

Closely followed by the pass from St Moritz to Torin.

Bloody cold at times, minus 6 style but sensational.

Turn south at Torin to digs for the night.

Highly recommended and a beautiful town.

Go for bimble and early night as I want to be mobile by 0730 tomorrow to make Pardua in good time.......

Boaro Terme is cute enough place.

Hotel cheap and underground parking so another result there.

Bizarrely the bus station cafe is the happening place so I grab a coffee and read a bit more about the Italian organisation who dig up planes and found this one. They are known as RAF too. Go figure.

Bed and alarm set.....

Find this club but manager boots me out....

"Sorry mate no professionals allowed"

Even the Italian bus stations are smart.

I once spent hours in Leicester bus station. A shit hole of the highest order. It made Baghdad look like the Seychelles........

Day 4.

Not about me, the bike or any such trivia.

All about one man finally being laid to rest in the manner he so richly deserved.

120 miles and I'm there early.

With the permission of his family I'll let the pics talk.....

I'd recommend googling this pilot and reading up on him a bit.

The Italian folk did a great job finding him and the RAF did a fantastic job with his funeral.

I had a quick chat with family, said hi to the RAF lads and wandered 40 miles north to my digs.

A moving day and I have a beer after a 2 mile walk, toast absent friends and retire to ride another day.
