Low seat for high seat

Hi there

Can anyone help with this.

I have a BMW R 1200 RT LC which I love

It’s a 2017

I decided when I bought the bike new that I would fit a lower seat which is heated.this is front one only

I wish I had fitted a standard height seat though.

How easy would it be to source a standard height heated seat. I presume BMW would be a fortune for one.

How easy would if be to get a second hand one? But it would have to be mint.

I would swap but mines a 2012 so don't know if it would fit?

How about posting on some other forums and see if someone short in stature will do a postage only swap!

Change of heart. Theses seats are as hard as a razor blade. Think I’ll try a custom one.

Just to let you know, the stock seat does improve with use. Mine now has 20000 miles on it and I consider it as ok now. When I first had the bike the seat was an instrument of torture!

The Sargent heated seat on my RT was a total game changer. I can now do 300+ mile stints with no issues whatsoever in the arse department.
