How to adjust Magura hydraulic clutch?

After fitting a Magura Hymec hydraulic clutch I am quite happy with the reduction in effort to pull the lever and the smoothness of the action. However, it is now impossible to select neutral from either 1st or 2nd gear. This necessitates holding the clutch lever in at a standstill which rather negates the point of fitting it in the first place. Does anyone else have this clutch lever fitted and how did you adjust it to work properly? Even with the lever span set to the widest setting it still does not disengage. And besides I finds it to far a reach anyway.

I'm guessing that there is not enough movement of the clutch release arm. Have you bought the wrong parts.

Are you sure all the air is out? May be worth bleeding it again.

The unit is a BMW specific model for the f800gs but I assume it fits the 700 and 650 as well. It comes factory sealed with fluid and is ready to use without the need to bleed. There doesn’t appear to be any sponginess in the action.
