    recommendations for a replacement battery

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro which has performed flawlessly since new and continues to do so. However, the battery life is starting to fade. It's completed 993 full cycles now and i believe they should last to 1000 but i'm now starting to charge daily so i think it's time to change.

    Any recommendations for a replacement?

Should be fine, I have installed this in an old one before I gave it away to a school.

Put this in my early 2011 MacBook Pro .

6000mAh Battery For Apple MacBook Pro 13" 13.3" A1278 MB990 MC724 A1322 Laptop. Plenty to pick from ebay or amazon.

That was Oct 2017 and £26.That is loads cheaper than an Apple original. Make sure you recalibrate the system to recognise the new battery, and you have the correct driver for the screws. Take the opportunity to give the internals a clean. I am onto 609 cycle count , never been an issue.
