Hi,

I saw this thing on Aliexpress and thought that I would give it a go.. So here's a very short review

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-BMW-R1200GS-Mobile-Phone-Navigation-Bracket-ADV-F700-800GS-CRF1000L-Africa-Twin-For-Honda-Motorcycle/32958255359.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.1.4f4261f5r aoCQL&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_9_10065_10 130_10068_10547_319_317_10548_10696_10192_10190_45 3_10084_454_10083_10618_10307_10820_10301_10821_10 303_537_536_10059_10884_10887_321_322_10103,search web201603_56,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=ee947c19-ed23-4519-ac4b-17a1717784b8-0&algo_pvid=ee947c19-ed23-4519-ac4b-17a1717784b8&transAbTest=ae803_3

It came pretty quickly.
The quality is not amazing, but absolutely good enough - especially for the price!
It holds the my phone very tight (OnePlus 5T with bumper cover) - It definately wont fall anywere.
It fits nicely into the BMW cradle - locks in the same way as.
There's power on both USB ports as soon as the ignition is on

Issue
The the USB-c cable that came with it didn't work
The clamp is right over my volume button (that can normally be dealt with via settings) - I solved it by 3Dprinting a small "spacer"
I had to cut a bit of to be able to access the button the turns the screen on - only soft-buttons on the front of my phone..
No support for BMW wheel

But it works like a charm during rides, where I can have both a tour app (Calimoto, Bmw motorrad connected etc) and google open at the same time (google tells how long time I'm away from home.

With this and the TFT-screen I see absolutely NO USE for the BMW Navigator..

Nice kit but the nav still has uses.

I monitor my TP quite closely. Also the ability to use via scroll wheel is well worth it imho.

If they could make it wheel compatible and able to suck the bike into out to an app, then the nav really works be hard to justify :)

I have a much cheaper solution. I got a spare cover for the satnav mount. Siliconed a phone cover to it. If anyone wants photos I’ll sent them. Not able to post photos on here due to my technical limitations. JJH

OK.. But I just wanted to try this thing out...
But if you have to buy a another cover (most people don't have an extra), a phone cover and an iso-charger for the phone, it can't be a lot it's cheaper :)
