From first hand experience thought I’d share my experience in getting my Dainese boots resoled. Discovered the going rate to send them back to Germany was £180 and about 6-8 weeks so took them to my local (Southampton) old school cobbler who did a brilliant job in a week and charged me £55.

Apparently the cobbler (Wayne) does about half his business mail order and so thought I’d share in case it solved anyone else’s problems. He can also repair zips etc as well as most other boots. He does have a website but suffice to say he’s a way better cobbler than web designer which is probably the best way round!

Dainese or Daytona? I send my Daytona’s back to the factory ,they had new soles fitted, new gear change pad and new internal linings , didn’t pay half of what you quote and the turn around was four weeks. I dealt directly with Daytona not a uk dealership .
