Hi Don
Check the oil drain in the back LH corner of the airbox in case you have a bit of oil trapped there
The blanking plugs for the throttle bodies need to be in good condition to prevent air leaks and lean running.

You shouldn’t have any oil leaking from there. The cap should be an air tight seal.

So i’m Assuming you are getting a few drops of oil when you remove the cap. If so then the oil is coming from the crank case breather system which vents into the air box, from there it gets drawn into the engine and burnt. Obviously some oil vapour has condensed, enough to form a few drops, which is what you are seeing.

Nothing to worry about.

Ok sounds about right. Bike has only done about 100 miles in 8 years. This will have been its first 240 odd mile blast since 2011 service! Not worried just curious. Will have it looked at next month when requesting full service. Ta
