I have a Dell XPS which has one usb-c output and I need to extend the screen to two more displays.

The thing is, that I’m looking to be able to use the laptop screen and two more at the same time, with potentially 3 different things being displayed. Eg - Skype on laptop and a spreadsheet on another, then a word doc on the 3rd.

I can see the Dell D3100 hub can do this, but is serious money. Are there alternatives around the £20-30 mark that anyone knows? Most of the ones I’ve looked at will display the same thing as hdmi and/or vga as a second display only.

Thanks for any help the collective can give :thumb2

Really appreciate the help, Smogbob.

Looking at both of these has shown they have exactly the problem I was describing. Someone has asked the question and this was the response:
Hello, it can not show 2 different output screens simultaneously. Hdmi and vga can only work on the same screen simultaneously.

Any other suggestions, anyone..?

Yep their publicity is a tad mis-leading at the best, they show extended screens, however going into technical details, the Dell is a super specced hub, and this is why it is so expensive, it is basically a mini computer, just wondering if something could not be knocked up using a raspberry PI, food for thought, seems it has been done, so ideas are out there.
