I have a GS911 that I bought for my earlier 1200LC. I now have a later Euro 4 bike - does anyone know if there is an advantage to keeping it or use and OBD reader instead?
Thanks. My question is what, if any, advantage is there of keeping the GS911? Or should I turn it in to cash and use a cheap alternative.
Does the GS911 read stuff that OBD readers can't - if that makes sense...
I know it does a few things better than the cheaper alternatives, however at the end of the day, if we are not doing bike maintenance for a living, and you just want to reset the odd service light etc cheaper alternative is perfect example ODBLINK LX with motoscan software.

and latest GS-911 updates so might be worth keeping

Also just noticed this
BMW Models that require a GS-911wifi or GS-911usb Generation 2 interface
Note: These are the K001 chassis models - ALL of these K001 chassis models require the GS-911wifi or GS-911usb Generation 2 interface!

I'll probably just keep it and buy an adapter.
Yes, the red one. Bought it for my previous LC.
