The hotel is in (or close to) Camalino, which is 7 km / 8 minutes west of the ever popular Potes.

It's interesting that the hotel's web page has no mention of the food! Normally there is an option for half board, which is what you should go for when on a budget, otherwise you get the full on 'a la carte' which as well as being copious - and very good according to te reviews in Spanish - also means you pay for the wine instead of it being included. This wine is also going to be expensive!

I stayed here last year, 5km from Potes. Excellent food for around 12 euros. Beer is 4 euros a pint. Excellent for bike parking. Very little english spoken but very friendly and love motorbikes. Locals eat and drink there and had some moments with the elderly locals via google translate.

Booked again for September this year.

Shame I just had to cancel this as my Ferry Crossing on the broken Pont Avon Cancelled

This was going to be for a quick jolly round the Picos before meet with others for Pyrenees jolly
Now managed to get the ferry a day later all being well and its fixed ( Rudder knackered )
