Best way is to avoid at all costs
I formulated at least 2 routes to avoid Bodensee to head towards Ravensburg direction and ultimately the Alpenstrasse road
Both with the aid of a map, plus pen and paper

Which, is what the suggested route does, only coming close to the lake at one point, avoiding the infamous B31
Missed the lovely spa town of Bad Saulgau though..................a real shame
Following the Donau, near Bad Buchau................is a rare gem, too
No doubt it misses other ‘Must do’ places too but it will give bods some ideas, when it comes to: “Me and five mates are off tonight, we need routes....” The rest they can work out for themselves.
