When I had an R1150GSA, it was possible to change the dipped beam from left to right if going to Europe.
This was a bit fiddly but was by rotating the headlamp bezel I think, it was described in the owners manual.
Is it possible to do something similar on the headlight of the F800GS I wonder?

The lights on the F800GS are not “handed” left or right. If you point the bike at a dark wall and switch from dipped to high beam and back you will see that they are pointing straight ahead. So no need to worry when going to Europe.

The adjustability on the 1150 was a great feature that was lost with the introduction of the 1200. Other practicality features were dumped at the same time: a centre stand that was balanced so that whichever wheel was removed, the bike stood on the other wheel; a completely flat load space across pillion seat and panniers; a proper toolkit under the pillion seat too.
