X532A Rotary Grip Brake

What is this?
How does it work?

X585A Alternate Conversion Ratio

Conversion Ratio of what?

Neil

A lot of it is electronics stuff, it relates to options added post sale

Plod bikes have different gear ratio's i think on first to give them more accceleration in lower gears

once all the plod leccy bits are removed, your base bits dont work..

I'll hava look at one of the reproms and see if it sheds any light

And this? X532A Rotary Grip Brake

Even looking at the micro Fiche it doesn't shed much light, how is it different from standard?

X461a is defo police/military or vosa ,when the K series first came out in police spec the radio equipment signals were fritzing the ECU's signals and the vehicles ignition was interfering with the radio reception

X532a also comes up as twist grip brake...................... throttle lock for when the bike is sitting with the blue lights on to raise tickover and charging rate ?

I bought this bike unseen - Distance being a huge factor, but the seller mentioned it had cruise control yet non of the standard cruise control 'buttons' where there and I think this is what he meant by cruise control.

How does this throttle lock work?
How does it lock in place?

I'll be back in the UK on the 15th May so I can actually take it out of the garage and have a good look.

A few more details may help

Model - year - trim level etc

Did you buy it private or from a dealer?

It was bought privately but still registered as a Police vehicle, which I changed when I registered it. All police parts removed except the aux battery. Police luggage remained.
