Into The West 2019

A strong looking outfit that Pete.

My thoughts exactly Aidan. Built to take a lot of punishment on poor or non existent roads. Your man rode it from Shanghai to Munich so it was well tested. Interesting chap too.

Thanks to Jochen and all involved in organising this trip, I can only imagine the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to get this event across the line.
Fair play to you Jochen, ya even organised fine weather!!! Not a bad looking Island we live on when the sun is shining.

It was nice meeting like minded people who enjoy motorcycling, hope to meet you all again soon.

Yep. Thanks to all for a grand weekend.:thumb

thank you Jochen and Lawrence

what a great weekend once again, great to see all the usual suspects and great to meet new friends.

Big thank you to Jochen and Lawrence for all the organisation, it was brilliant as always.

Thanks to everyone who we had a chat with at the weekend, wouldn't be the same without yous. :thumby::thumby:

Thanks

Nice meeting you all .thanks for organising.
Does anyone have a contact number for the guy from uk on the 2006 1200 gs. His wife was pillion. He was broken down by gort . I stopped to see if i could help. Bike was lifted and in breakdown van when i left.
It was being taken to a storage compound locally.
Made some enquiries. This number is for a local galway guy who may be able to help.

Will send to Charlie now but think he is sorted :thumby:

Big thanks (again) to Jochen and Lawrence for all the organising. Jane and I now “enjoying” the delights of Gort, the 81k mile GSA having let us down. Being recovered back to Dublin tomorrow to Platinum Motircycles. Hope they will be able to wave their magic wand in time for my return ferry on Thursday morning.
Big thanks also to Pat McCarthy for stopping to help on the hard shoulder of the M18 - top bloke. Thanks also to Kev, Mide & Jochen for their advice and generous offers of accommodation and loan bikes. True “biker mates” one and all.
A fine weekend, as always.

Thanks to all for making it a great weekend!

Leenane Hotel is such good value for money and the dry (weather) day yesterday gave us a great look at the 4 corners of Connemara.

Here's a link to the few snaps I took

The rams live on a road past Delphi on the way to Westport, I saw them several times and I got the chance this morning to snap them before any traffic disturbed them.

Roll on Sept 2020!

Likewise Frank - pleasure was all ours! :) Loved the scenic route you brought us on - beaches, mountains, lakes, and some lovely twisty stuff too. Perfect day out on the bike! :thumb2

Such a nice part of the world - definitely going to return again soon...

Thanks all that turned up, at least our time organising it isn't wasted ;)
Good to see people coming from far & wide and it's always good to see a few new faces. Hopefully they don't think it's always like that in Connemara :blast
After beautiful weather on Friday & Saturday it was a shame to have such a grey & damp day yesterday but sure what can you do....

Now I know I said on Saturday evening that we'd run with September 11/12/13 next year but when I spoke to Agnes on Sunday morning they had a bit of a shortage of rooms on the Friday night so I've gone with 4/5/6th
Apologies for any confusion. If you have booked the later dates will you get the booking changed before you forget you've booked the wrong weekend :rob

Just as well that didn't happen on Saturday or we'd have been having words :p

Many thanks to Jochen and Laurence for organising another fantastic "Leenaun" weekend. Even the weather played ball this year (well maybe not on Sunday but sure it's the Wesht (sic)of Ireland )

Great company, great weather, great photos. Sure what else could ye ask for :beerjug:

Roll on next year :rob

Super weekend as always. Great to catch up with everyone, even if there were to many there to be able to catch up with everyone!
Thanks Jochen and the merry elves for all the hard work.

Here's a little video of Jochen crossing from Omey. I though I better post it before his bike melts.

Great Photos Laurence.
