    Long weekend ride to Munich

Anyone interested in a leave Friday, get back Monday ride to Munich. Maybe end of July? I’m Essex based.

    Was planning on camping

From experience, it’s a good idea to tell possible punters:

    1. Where, how and when you’ll be departing. Let’s guess that as you live in Essex, it’ll be from Dover or Folkestone, by boat or train, returning via Calais. Which will then just leave the times.

    2. A rough idea of what you envisage road and daily distance wise. Calais to Munich in one hit down the motorway and the same single hit back, giving you two full days in Munich.... doing what? Or is it a two day goat track jaunt there and back, with one night in Munich? Or something else?

In short, ‘sell’ the jaunt to people.

Look at your other thread: https://www.ukgser.com/forums/showth...er-open-invite

There’s exactly the same questions there. It’s a theme that’s emerging; learn from it.

    Ok thanks for pointer.

Thought it would be best to gauge interest before doing any planning although point taken, thanks

    Good stuff.

If you build it, they will come.
