I was talking to a guy on a KTM stand at the MCN festival over the weekend. I asked how the tubeless system on the spoked wheels worked and he said it was a seal and a metal band.

I have not been able to find any photos or information on how it’s done.

Is this technology transferable to other bikes/wheels?

Has anyone done it?

Tom

Thanks.

I suppose I was thinking the original Husky parts might be transferable to my existing rims.

I've not seen one with a metal band before

The last KTM Adventure I saw with the tyre removed had a thick, wide, rubber seal that went over the spoke nipples and across the centre width of the rim. The rubber seal is approximately 60mm wide and held in place by tyre pressure ;)

Not totally tubeless, but for easier puncture repairs Tubliss is another option.
