Insurance for Turkey/Ukraine.

I'm heading off for a couple of weeks in September with a view to getting either to Istanbul or Kiev but my motorbike insurers don't offer cover for either of these countries. Has anybody got any names/links to companies who do cover these places please?

Both places will offer insurance at the border with no real bother. Never found insurance company that would offer either myself, even if they say they do you may find the border guard says otherwise and you won't win that discussion!
Also my 2p:
You will your real V5, the days of using colour photocopies are gone.
Most places in Turkey will accept cards but I'd get some cash for Ukraine (and watch out for the pot-holes and the other people avoiding the potholes!).
