The Helinox table is a great bit of kit, light, well made and reasonably robust. What though has always troubled me about it is potentially melting the surface when using a gas or fuel stove, so I’ve never done it.
As I hate grovelling around on the ground (and let’s face it few of us are spring chickens) I have been looking around for a well made, light, collapsible table to go on top of the Helinox, making it safe from radiated heat. I think I have found one.
