I drag myself up and down the A1 and M6 too often for my liking and I'm looking for an alternative route from Yorkshire to London.

I need to complete the trip within a day, and I remember Ride Magazine or something similar suggested a route once but I can't find it.

Obviously I can ask Google Maps or Garmin for a route but it'd likely be pants, so if anyone here has a gpx file or similar they can recommend I'd be very grateful.

See how much of the Meridian(longitude) @ 2 degrees West you can follow? In England it runs from Northumberland to Dorset :rob
