Tank Bag?

I ruminated for hours about this same thing and eventually went for the OEM small tank bag. I don't think the straps are a faff. 3 clicks (one at the top and two at the bottom and its on. Fits like it should and is waterproof so you don't need to 'faff' around when dark clouds loom putting on a shower cap.

Bonnet de douch rodders!

+1 for that.

You don't even have to completely detach it for fill ups. I just unclick the lower straps and rest the bag up and out of the way on the bars. Also avoids the risk with a tank ring type bag of ripping the brass screw thread inserts out of the plastic tank due to the stresses and strains on the mount imposed by accelerating and braking, especially with a large heavily loaded bag.

Im using a Givi ST602 4ltr one and its ok. It will stand a little rain however best to use the included rain cover.

Fit looks better than some, got any other photos? which model is it?
The map pocket fits well on top too....the Velcro ones seem to blow off in strong cross winds..you can adjust where you want it to sit...further forward or back.
