Has anyone used one of VM's WiFi boosters? Worth getting? Did it improve the WiFi black spot?

Just thought I'd ask before i shell out each month for something which may or may not work.

TIA

If it was me looking to improve WiFi coverage to an area of my house, I'd be looking to go down the route of Home Plugs with builtin WiFi.

Something like this: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...rline-adapter-kit-twin-pack-10191037-pdt.html

There are cheaper options available from the likes of TP-Link such as this one: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...adapter-kit-av600-twin-pack-10153178-pdt.html

The idea is that you have one device (the non WiFi enabled one) plugged in near to your router / hub / whatever you want to call it. Connect to said router with an ethernet cable.
You then plug the other device, the WiFi enabled one, in to a plug socket in the are you are struggling to get a decent WiFi signal, configure it as per the devices set up instructions and you SHOULD be good to go.

As these devices carry network signals through your house's internal electrical wiring their throughput and reliability largely depend the quality and age of the electrical wiring in your house

I already have a mesh system set up which shows a good signal and started off well but not the best anymore. It's the deco system. I just wondered if VM are recommending a booster if it would be better to run with my VM router?

In all honesty I doubt that it would be any better. I mean it may seem a tiny bit better if they have better transmitters and or aerials in their equipment, but the improvements if any would be negligible.

All WiFi systems have "standards" that they have to meet and every device has to work with every other device regardless of who they are manufactured by
