£70 per month never felt so good

but I am sure you realise that any bike or scooter could be ridden up that road. harley, goldwing, cbr ect. ?

What has that got to do with anything this is a thread about Africa twins , he is posting a picture of his bike which is a a dam site more interesting than a load of tx trying to belittle someone. Who cares if your billy big bollox off road god the bloke is out there having fun and posting pictures. What positive things are you doing ?

Had my 70 quids worth too currently down in central Italy

Stopped in at Valentino’s place to show him how to rear wheel steer properly previously doing hardcore off roading , out doing all the locals on 2t enduro bikes because I am a riding god and the AT is awesome :thumb

If you want to take any of those up there your welcome but what is the point ? How much fun would it be ? Exactly none so it’s a ridiculous thing to say.

Some nice trails there PeepingTom.

Looks really nice, do you prefer riding alone?

For longer trips then generally yes but I’m not totally adverse to company especially off road. I would have tackled some nice big hills I’d found but it was a bit too remote for risk taking alone. Plus I was / am overloaded and could have distributed the weight better. The front end has needs some weight on it , hey hoo

A few more

I got awarded highest topbox in Italy yesterday up Colle de Sommellier, couldn’t do the last bit due to road still blocked by snow. A bulldozer was clearing it ready for the Stella alpina this weekend :thumb

It’s not a lot of fun to be honest with the luggage not helping either. The big loose rocks near the top and a light front end don’t mix well. I went up with the German guy and his wife on new 701 huskys :bow:comfort . They vaned their bikes down from Berlin.

Well done getting up there on an AT with luggage. That 701 is around the same weight as my TE630, it's so light and easy to ride when swapping from the ATAS. I'd find that pretty intimidating on the ATAS.

Some more pictures of my last rideout, getting my monies worth :thumb
