First of all I'd like to say that I'm already spend some time reading about stalling problems on BMW 800cc twins but could find a solution for mine.
Here's the case!
I own a BMW GS650F '09 and I have the same problem. Since February the bike started to fail me and stalling while shifting or stoping at a red light.
I couldn't find any pattern, it already happen in cold and hot weather, with the bike cold ou at temp. While running or stop.
In the morning before going to work, I start the bike and let her run a bit while I gear up. At this point it could happen or not.. If she stall then it could be after she's idling for 30s or 5m. It's like if there's a lack of gas so the bike start to decrease the rpm, then it comes back, and at the end she stops.
I don't understand why it's happening.
What can I do to try to solve the problem?
I tried an fuel controller from another bike and had the same problem.
Help me please.
