I’m in the process of replacing the brake caliper and forks on my Paris Dakar 80G/S .
The brake pipe connectors are 10 mm in diameter I’m just wondering what pitch the thread is on these Brembo callipers. Is it 1.00 or 1.25 mm pitch , so I can tell the guy who is going to make them up for me.

Looks like 8 turns on that thread, measure with calipers or a steel rule and divide by 8.

M10 x 1mm from memory. I replaced mine with stainless flare nuts some years ago and used 'Optimol TA' anti-seize paste on the threads to reduce the risk of catalytic corrosion (Stainless and Alloy don't get along). All still shiny and working well.

The nut is 12 mm , so the threads look nearer 1.25, possibility 1.5
1 mm is 25 threads per inch , same as a fine thread 1/4/ 6mm bolt, and they are coarser than that.
The little 7 mm bleed nipples have a 1mm thread, but these are bigger than that.
The Speed bleeder site will probably tell you what size fits, as both holes are the same size.

I took my old pipe to the local bike garage/MOT center and they made me 2 for £5 the chap that made them just said they were metric fittings no problems. The reason for the 2 was I knew I would be changing the front disk to an HE setup so had 1 made 50mm longer.
