My K1300S is well out of warranty at 9 years old, but the dealers have everything on the system going back, even though I don't have it.
Previous owner spent £700 on the 12k last year 17 miles before I bought it
) and I was willing to take it back to BMW, until I got a quote!!!
My previous bike, a ZZR1400 went to Kawasaki for an oil & filter and an inspection last year before a trip to Germany and I only paid £110.
BMW Park Lane Motorrad just quoted me £250 for the same on this one.
Cooper BMW in Tunbridge Wells have booked me in but failed to return any calls about the price, hence my enquiry to the Park Lane one. I would have paid up to about £150 but not £250!
I am tempted to do it myself but would prefer an invoice as proof for when trade up time comes.
