I finally decided to go ahead with the Altrider High Fender kit in black. It's a close call between the two companies, but in the end I liked the aluminium fork guards custom made to protect the ABS Sensor and the use of OEM brake line points. I liked how the front mudguard is fixed at 5 points as I suspect this'll get whacked a few times so that attracts me as well.
Anyways, personal preference I guess but I also have Altrider crash bars, Altrider Extended Skid Plate, Altrider high footpeg, Altrider headlight guard, so.... bit of brand loyalty and compatibility
Being as though I'll have the body panels off and the fuel tank off when doing the rear brake conversion. May as well crack on with the high fender kit and rear brake conversion at the same time. I'll change the air filter as well as it's a PITA to get to.
Looks like the bike may be getting a mini-stripdown shortly.
