They certainly look ok. Be a bit like the fender thingy and mudsling, bought chinky versions of those and you cant tell the difference when side by side with the "real thing"

There's a proper moulded plastic jobbie from BMW. A chum has one on his Rallye. Price from BMW sub-£40 from memory.

Ask your BMW Dealer. Theres a plastic guard that is a stock part for the 1250 but is retro fittable to the LC1200

+1 on that, I have not installed one yet, might go for the metal one, as gravel chippings aint my friend, and if you really want to protect the centre stand give it a wrap with rockfall wrap before.
