Motobatt battery charging

Got myself a Motobatt battery on my little Honda CB250RS.

Can I maintain / charge it on my existing Optimate 3 or do I need an actual Motobatt charger ?

As long as it is not a lithium you will be fine with the O3
 
Lithium batteries can be charged with a normal charger.
They are charged on the bike in the normal way.
 
never needed to charge the battery on my cb250rs ever
it sits under a cover all year but usually starts 3rd kick on its duties to visit my other bikes
one of my favourites

Very pleased to hear about your choice of bike jbox.

My CB250RS comes with a magic button.
And it does seem to start easier since the Motobatt has been installed.
 
ah well worth it then
i have four as spares
had at least one on the go since the mid eighties
took the swing arm out of one and found the mountings fractured,just the axle holding it together!
