Anybody know any 'non-official' BMW 1150 mechanics in/near Aylesbury / Bucks?

Looks like the crown wheel bearing and the pivot bearings on my Rockster have gone, and (tbh) I don't have the head space at the moment to do a fix that I would rely on so looking for someone who knows the bikes well and is set up with the kit and the knowledge.

I have other contacts who can do it, (eg I would contact your good self Steptoe, if you still take paying jobs, to do the job again), but if I can find someone close to home that would be advantageous.

Mucho gracias. :D

Pretty close is Bike Motor Works, Long Lodge Farm, Main Rd, Grendon, Northampton NN7 1JW, 07890 085891.

Ian serviced my GS800 for half the price of a Motorrad dealer.

Booked in at MotoScot for next week. Thanks very much for the recommendations!

So how did you get on? I've used Steve many times. Good chap. Motoscot is about 5 miles away from me. You must have moved RB - we're practically neighbors now:thumb
(PS sorry for digging up an old post - searching for Rockster posts:))

That's probably a good thing - I think he regretted ever offering to spanner my 180K, double crash damaged 1150 pyg:D Ally is in for a treat:augie

Ello mate, long time no see!
Yep, job done very quickly, they know what they're doing!

Don't you have a Rockster that is modified beyond all recognition?

I've got two Rocksters RB - one that identifies as a supermoto GS that is currently on long term holiday in Scotland after imploding and a more recent standard-ish bike apart from the colour. I've pinged you on FB - be good to catch up and talk Rocksters:thumb
