Right....words & pictures for Sunday 21st.

Our rough route would be as follows:

Depart Hotel Alfonsina and ride to Hotel Del Oso via:
- Vega De Pas
- Reinosa
- Aguilar De Campoo
- Areños
- Potes
- Fuente De

Routes would avoid motorways & tolls of course, and focus on the N, CL, CN and LE roads.

Leaving Alfonsina we were met with a spot of fog:

Which soon cleared:

Ruins @ Aguilar De Campoo:

...and just pleasant landscapes:

...on to Cervera De Pisuerga:

....and lunchtime was upon us, so time to eat.

So we found this restaurant....

So the latter part of the afternoon had arrived, so before checking in to the Hotel Del Oso, where we staying on Sunday & Monday nights, it was a trip to Fuente De...

...and then back to the hotel to freshen up:

Right...Monday 22nd July. As we were in the Hotel Del Oso again, we decided to go and play around The Picos. Roughly, our route would be:

- Depart Del Oso
- Potes
- La Vega
- Portilla de la Reina
- Posada De Valdeon (and into the National Park)
- Oseja De Sajambre
- Riaño
- Back to Del Oso

And the N-621 had plenty of fun in store for us:

...so off we went, and rather glad we did:

Just can’t believe that these roads are empty; we haven’t seen many bikes at all, so we’ve got them all to ourselves!!!!!

So, found a little restaurant:

With a pleasant view:

Then happened upon a lake as we approached Riaño (more like an ocean):

We then rode the N-621 back to Potes which was essentially our private race track as we saw bugger all traffic for miles

- Hotel Del Oso to Potes
- N-621 to Boñar
- CL-626/LE-315 to Cármenes
- LE-312 to Villamanín
- LE-473/CL-626 to Sena de Luna & Embalse de los Barros De Luna
- Then....LE-497...AS-213...CN-8 (single track road & v v tight)...CN-4...AS-213 all the way to Cangas Del Narcea
