So here it is, another pilgrimage to foreign shores. This year there’s myself, Nutty and a mutual friend Mark...off to explore the delights of Northern Spain, to pleasure ourselves with fine roads, scenery, foods, libations, a spa treatment or two and of course, luxurious accommodation.

We’re booked on the Portsmouth to Santander ferry tomorrow @ 17.00, for what one hopes will be a smooth crossing. Weather forecast looks ok for Asturias so if it stays like this, then happy dayz.

So...top up your refreshments, make yourself comfortable and stay tuned for further report updates from tomorrow.....this (hopefully) should be a belter
