What. The bike or the key?
The key will outlive the bike
Greetings David & welcome to the forum....enjoy your new bike....
the locks can be stiff when new
if it worries you, BMW themselves can get you a "luggage key" - which is a metal key that cant be used to start the bike.
YOu could also get one cut at your local timpsons or key-cutting place, save you using the ignition key for the panniers.
