Went on for some time. Tent had a serious puddle in it which was duly mopped up with dirty clothing to be dried on the bike tomorrow. And after the storm he made a braai!

But the majority of today’s riding was awesome apart from a tunnel delay and a road collapse.

I was meant to go from solden to the ring in 1 day but there were tunnel closures, road collapses etc so I lost too much time. Ended up in seeboden. Not to worry, mopped up the tent puddles and made a braai!

Had a great ride here today. Just arrived and drying everything. Fucking nuthouse here! Think I made the mistake of unpacking and setting up before sussing the numpties around me. Love the cheesy music though. It can only be good. There is sun today

Ouch my head hurt today. What with drinking all and sundry till 4 30am. Mainly cos I fell over head first into my open tent when trying to to move stuff out of the way. Found some dick had nicked my adventure chair too. Went hunting and found it around some capervan. So I took one of their chars and donated to another camper an around the corner. Racing etc was awesome. Spent the day from 10am at the track. Nice walk around. Moto E bikes are not interesting- too quiet! More shenanigans on the cards tonight. Campsite still jumping. Titty bars are pretty common around here. Das good!

Moto go was a brilliant experience. Never saw 1 fight or argument amongst the many, very inebriated folk. Locals told me that the area is so pretty because Red Bull asked people to spruce up the houses and surrounding villages and submit invoices which were quickly paid. Racing was good.

Have to say I gave that old timer a miss. Too much green already! Well after the race I bolted for Kaprun. Glad I had a bike as there were plenty of overtakes, much filtering of the one easy traffic made this just a superbly organised event. So Kaprun, and the cheapest hotel , mind it didn’t have en suite but it did have a view

Today I rode the easiest non motorway 300 miler. Awesome awesome roads, no traffic but did get a stupendous downpour for about 90 minutes. Abs soaked through. Then it cleared and I rode it all dry. Back in Germany today somewhere around Donaueschinge. Picked a random campsite to aim for then skies got seriously dark and heavy. Really didn’t fancy starting tomorrow in wet gear so nailed it the 14 miles to the camp, overtaking wobbly boxes at stupid speed prob heading for the same campsite!

. Must say this prob the best campsite ever been on. Neat. Free hot showers with double spray heads, beach, cafe , coffee machine. Zuper nice and all for €12.

and if I take both beer bottles back they’ll refund me 20c

Who were the bands that were playing up the hill or were you in the "titty bars" every night?

Saw Green Day, pink, Bryan Adams. Can’t remember the others. Spent all day around the track with the flypasts and the racing then evenings at the party stalls. Managed to get on road on Sunday at about4:30. 1 way traffic made life on a bike so I say filtering for miles to beat the queue. As you said, most of the big caravans packed up early Sunday.
