Does anybody know anything about this company?

They do tours for Big Adventure Bikes in Snowdonia Wales. For all levels of riders.

Search : Ride The Wild on YouTube

Loads of short videos.

Yes, been out with them. Phil and Helen are a great couple and know their stuff. They live in the area and know it very well.

Highly recommended.

I mean to go back for another day but not made it yet.

They have a very professional approach to their guiding.

I know that if you go, they’ll be a bike down, and will regret taking your money! :aidan

Hey..... behave

I'm learning, everyone falls off now and then....

I've watched quite a few varied YouTube video's of Big Adventure Bike riders and they all fall off....

So it isn't just me :D

I've since been shopping and treated myself to some new kit, including more armour.

Yes it's overkill, but I can pare it down once the crashes become less eventful.

- Klim Dakar Jersey
- Klim Tactical Pro Jersey
- Klim Dakar Trousers
- Klim Mojave Trousers
- Leatt 5.5 Body Armour (winter)
- Leatt 5.5 Chest Protector (summer)
- Leatt 5.0 Impact Shorts
- Tacvent cooling system
- 100% Tinted Goggles with storage case

May as well look forward to doing it all again with some fresh kit.

Crashes may be become less frequent not less eventful :)

Yeah true....

What I'm finding out about myself is a sick attraction to gnarly rocky tracks. Fookin mental, but flat trails are boring.

Please have someone write on my tombstone : "At least he tried...."

I also think, if I can't make it one day out around Wales... forget travelling the World :D

.... couldn't even imagine coping with broken ribs off-road in the middle of nowhere, having days to get to any decent rest stop.

That would be a tough grind...

Suppose you'd have to just load up with pain killers and get on with it...
