Tonight discovered the pannier frame bracket on the carrier rack broken away. R/H side rear.
Stripped the frames and rack off. Bit of a piss poor original weld. No, or very little weld penetration to the parent material
But, wow. I quite forgot what a pretty little rear end the R80ST really has.
Now need to find somebody with a TIG welder who can do a small and neat weld.
