These days, memory cards are getting so cheap the handiest option might be to purchase a few 64 or 128 Gb cards and just swap them out when full. Means your not depending on a power source to run a laptop or tablet....
There was a sort of stand alone hard drive that was supposed to do this but it is reported to be very slow and unreliable. I think that use of multiple sd cards is probably the simplest solution, unless you hope to edit during the trip, in which case a lap top maybe your best bet
My favourite toy so useful for many things, just add your external hard disk or laptop etc, and also you have a powerbank, careful newer version does not have sdcard reader.
